I create space to heal, grow, and live authentically.

MY MISSION

To foster spaces of radical and authentic healing through consultation, therapy, and coaching services.

MY WORK IS…

Intersectional, affirmative, transformative, inclusive, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive.

 Background

Kenya Crawford (she/they/name), M.A., Ed.M, LMHC, is the CEO of Kenya Crawford Consulting, an award-winning licensed psychotherapist and racial equity consultant that creates healing and liberating spaces to dismantle oppressive systems. Kenya provides individual & relationship counseling, coaching, and anti-racism consultation to transform systems holistically

Kenya’s Anti-Racism Program and healing services support organizations in dismantling oppressive systems by disrupting racial trauma to foster healing and liberation. This is achieved through workshops, trainings, racial affinity groups, and coaching services. Kenya approaches this work from an intersectional, affirmative, inclusive, and anti-oppressive lens to ensure strategic yet effective support.

As a clinician and clinical supervisor, they specialize in working with QTBIPOC folks navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationships. Kenya skillfully approaches counseling and supervision as a Black queer woman from a decolonized, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive lens aimed toward creating a collaborative and authentic space to foster radical holistic healing for clients. Kenya supports clinicians of color through her Cultivating Healers program which provides supervision, coaching, and training.

Over the years, Kenya has been trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative therapy, and Anti-Racist psychotherapy. In conjunction with her work as a therapist, Kenya has previously served as a Faculty member in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Over the past decade, Kenya has supported international and domestic clients in their anti-racism journey. Kenya’s work has been featured in Huffington Post, Essence, Mindbody Green, and Popsugar, to name a few.
